Services Not Provided

We do not offer:

User Responsibilities and Conduct

General Conduct

Users must:

• Follow all laws
• Respect others' rights and privacy
• Use the Platform for legitimate purposes

Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

• Post false or fraudulent content
• Harass or discriminate
• Use the Platform for illegal activities
• Bypass security or collect data unlawfully
• Post spam or duplicate listings

Seller Responsibilities

Sellers must:

• Have legal authority to list properties
• Provide accurate and updated information
• Respond to inquiries
• Comply with real estate laws

Property Listings and Content

Listing Requirements

Listings must:

• Be truthful and current
• Include real photos and correct pricing
• Follow housing laws

Content License

By posting content, you:

• Retain ownership
• Grant La Hogar a royalty-free license to use and display it
• Confirm you have rights to post the content

Content Moderation

We may edit, remove, or review listings, and suspend users who violate our policies.

Property Verification

Our Process

• Seller identity
• Property documents
• Ownership
• Listing details

Limitations

We do not guarantee:

• 100% accuracy
• Legal title
• Property condition or valuation
• Compliance with building codes

Users should conduct independent due diligence.

Transactions and Payments

Facilitation

We provide tools to support transactions, but we are not a party to any contracts between Users.

Payment Processing

Payments may be handled by third-party processors. Users agree to their terms.

Fees and Commissions

• Individual accounts: Free
• Seller accounts: May incur success-based commissions

Refunds

Handled per our separate Refund Policy.

Privacy and Data Protection

Disputes Between Users

Indemnification

• Violation of these Terms
• Infringement of third-party rights
• Real estate activities conducted through the Platform

Termination

By You

You may close your account anytime via settings or customer support.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account for:

• Policy violations
• Fraud or illegal activity
• Inactivity

After Termination

Access will end, and listings may be removed. Some Terms will still apply.

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Nigerian law.

Jurisdiction

Disputes will be resolved in courts located in Lagos State, Nigeria.

Mediation

Before legal action, parties agree to attempt negotiation or mediation.

General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy make up the entire agreement between you and La Hogar.

Updates

We may revise these Terms. Notice will be given via the Platform or email. Continued use = acceptance.

Severability

If one part is invalid, the rest still applies.

Waiver

Failure to enforce a Term does not waive our right to do so in the future.
